I am a Learning & Development professional that believes if you want to increase employee engagement and effectiveness, then the development and implementation of learning programs and materials must follow standards and include proven, research based strategies . I assist organizations in building curriculum, processes, and resources that drive employee on the job performance and achieve business results. I achieve these goals by matching the right learning solution to each client request and by relentlessly engaging business partners in evaluating and balancing short-term needs and long-term strategy.
To do so effectively, I focus on helping leaders and top-level contributors verbalize, organize, document, and validate assumptions . That includes converting leaders from viewing training as a one time event or the result of a single “class” or “module” to viewing it as a process . I work together with SMEs to align business goals and training and gain support of each unit of the business, using and adapting proven instructional strategies .

MEET ME!
- I’m an Instructional/Web designer with over ten years’ experience working in higher education: four years assisting faculty in online, blended, and face-to-face course design and development, five years as a long term substitute teacher.
- Current career emphasis is on championing systemic change in higher education as it relates to the development and redesign of college-level courses, involving the implementation of education technologies for distance-based, hybrid, and face-to-face courses and program evaluation.
- Developed innovative, original, and engaging content for online courses. The primary software tools used is Articulate Storyline, Captivate, and Camtasia. Help make the courses dynamic and engaging with interactive activities, movies/media, and corresponding graphics.
